Pleasure Dome

We created the media that played on the seven 6 metre high screens in this musical set in New York in 1984, attracting over 55,000 people to the custom built theatre in West Auckland.

This included filming Lucy Lawless and turning the footage into a swirling sea of cocaine representing her alter ego CocoCaine, creating animated theatrical 3d representations of New York, and creating an environment that felt like a club in 1984.

The entrance to the venue was art directed to create the illusion people were entering NYC, including turning the entranceway into a subway.
